The Women of Color in Computing Collaborative: Trends, Trailblazers, and Taking Part in Transformation

Women of color are critical to our future technology workforce and to the identification and creation of new technologies, products, and solutions to the most intractable national and global challenges. Frieda McAlear, co-PI of the newly-launched Women of Color in Computing Collaborative, will describe the current data trends for women of color across the ecosystem, highlight examples of female tech entrepreneurs of color who are changing the narrative, and share ways that the audience can engage with the collaborative in its efforts to identify, examine, and scale practices to increase participation and success of women of color in tech.
